There are many community boats operating on the canals and rivers of England which provide facilities and a good time out for disabled and disadvantaged children and adults. However there is no such day boat on the Middle Thames between Windsor and Oxford.

In view of this the Rivertime Boat Trust has been formed firstly as a company limited by guarantee and now as a registered charity with the Charity Commission to fill this gap.
